Six tricks to detox your brain every morning

We are in the middle of a hot summer being constantly wired to our devices and work hanging at every corner of our prefrontal cortex, our mind just like a computer needs a recharge in a form of sleep and a periodic restart and detox. Read on 6 takes on how to improve your start of the day.


Start with closing and cleaning as many open tabs as possible. Detox and every regenerating process starts from within.


Add additional 500 ml of water to what you normally drink a day. Water is the elixir of life. It cleanses, detoxes, nourishes, nurtures and gives tone to your cells, including your brain by giving it the needed energy to function and do the thought processes.


Have a light breakfast, preferably a brain boosting breakfast - apples, berries, oats, chia seeds to your meal. Flour and sugar slow your down.


Check on your closest people whether they are physically near you or by using your devices and tune in with the people that inspire you the most. This will remind you of the importance of being connected and importantly of what you aspire to manage bring into fruition.


Have the bigger picture in your mind. Update your list of goals for the month and keep track on it together with your team.


Initiate working 10 to 20 minutes earlier than the usual and than the most people. This will give you early on the needed dopamine of having something done before everyone has showed up. This will be beneficially to your goal lists, to everyone connected and it will give you more time to meet your friends.
