The Human Proteome - A special 20 000 collection of proteins revealing humans health-shape

The human proteom is the collective of all proteins that can be expressed. Each organism has its own individual unique proteome. The scientific field connected to researching the proteome is called proteomics, involving cell biology methods to extract and research or use different proteins for scientific purposes opening the door for new methods in pharma and medical industry, to better target drug delivery, identify proteins that are associated with diseases and improving human being.


Proteomics in the diagnosis


Protein biomarkers are special protein molecules that can tell us about what's happening inside our bodies. Biomarkers are signs in our bodies that can be measured to understand normal and abnormal processes. These signs can include things like blood pressure, body temperature, genetic changes, and specific proteins.  New technologies in proteomics are helping us find even more of these useful proteins.


Proteomic markers has helped identify early detection of diseases. Those markers are more likely to show incidence of disease than human genome. However, we are still unable to analyse the whole proteome of a human which consists of around 20 000 proteins. The biggest array contains between 7000 and 10000 proteins, the second largest - only 1000. However this percentage is enough to detect some major changes. Proteins shed light on current health status, or whether lifestyle and environment are affecting a patient’s health. By analysing the proteom, physicians can also detect how a human organism will react to a treatment and predict the outcome.


In neuroscience, proteomics reading is used to detect, follow and determine Dementia and Alzheimer;s disease. There are major studies that show certain patterns in the proteome associated with Alzheimers that can be used in physicians practice.


Proteomics is also used in drug discovery and identifying drug targets. The key methods used in science behind every proteomic research are Gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry.


Further in Healthcare- a proteome therapy  is the analyses and implementation based on protein profiling and is used to treat arthritis, inflammatory bowel diseases as well as multiple sclerosis. It is claimed that by restoring the harmony in the body, the protein and molecular interactions, a personalised approach may be developed to defeat Arthritis with proven more than 70% success rate.


In dermatology and personal care, proteins are being used ever since ancient times when Cleopatra used camel milk for her skin. Today, the direct use of certain proteins in creams and other more advanced products is becoming as common as the use of water molecules in derma product. A major example is the use of collagen in masks and different face products to boost the formation of our replace loss and boost formation. With the development of regenerative medicine, plasma growth factors, obtained by our own blood, are used to strengthen tissues formation and activate the built up of tissues thus reversing the original structur of our skin, giving it a younger and strengthened look.


Within a healthy organism we have the perfect balance /proteostasis/ of synthesis of new proteins and proteom damage that can be increased due to environmental factors and age. One of the ways to protect the preteom from oxidative stress is through use of snow bacterias preserving the protoms from factors like carbonisation caused by imbalance and loss of proteostasis after damage of the 3D structure/folding. The snow bacterias are acting as a strong antioxidant and a physical shield, slowing down aging. Search them in your products of choice.


Proteins orchestrate and action practically every cellular process. They drive cell function, or in the case of disease, malfunction. The proteome – the entire catalog of proteins found in a cell, tissue or organism is not constant; it is dynamic and complex. Proteomics method are applied by all scientific fields mentioned here - neuroscience, medical and pharmaceutical solutions and personal care as well as the basis for understanding the human organism and intra-cellular processes.
